Every November since 2022, Child Care Now has organized Canada-wide Days of Action for Early Learning & Child Care. This year’s actions will be taking place over 10 days, from November 20th to 30th. Find out more about how Canada’s provincial child care advocacy organizations, early childhood educators, early learning and child care providers, children’s rights groups, and many others are rallying in support of this campaign at Child Care Now.

Kick off the Days of Action with the OCBCC, AECEO, Child Care Now, CUPE Ontario and community partners at the Rally for $10aDay and Decent Pay on Wednesday, November 20th

Join educators, child care workers, ECE students, child care operators, families, children, advocates and allies as we raise our voices for the child care system our communities deserve, with affordable, high-quality child care available for families and good jobs for educators, with fair pay and supportive working conditions.

This rally is taking place at the South Lawn of Queen’s Park (Legislative Assembly of Ontario) and everyone is welcome to attend. If you’ve never joined a child care rally organized by us and our community partners, you can get an idea of what to expect by watching this video of the 2022 rally and checking out this summary of the 2023 DoA in Ontario.

*If you are in the London-Middlesex area and would like to come to the rally in Toronto, you can join the EYALondon bus at no cost. Click here for more information and registration

Can’t make it to Queen’s Park for the rally or maybe you want to take more action? Join us Tuesday, November 26th at 7 p.m. for this important phone action where we join forces with parents, early childhood educators, community groups, Justice for Workers, the AECEO and OCBCC to say affordable, high quality childcare requires decent wages for all staff. We are calling for $10 a day AND decent pay! RSVP at the link to register: https://www.justice4workers.org/2024_11_26_phone_zap .
