Community Presentations

by | Mar 8, 2020 | Resources

Throughout the National Network project, we have met with ELCC communities across Canada to disseminate the findings of the project and introduce decent work innovations. These workshops provide an opportunity to generate discussion, share ideas and facilitate professional networks in local communities.

To provide these workshops, we have partnered with provincial associations and local networks including:

Association of Early Childhood Educators NL (AECENL)

Early Childhood Educators of BC (ECEBC)

Manitoba Child Care Association (MCCA)

Saskatchewan Early Childhood Association (SECA)

If you are interested in hosting an in-person or virtual workshop in your community, please contact: info@childcareontario.org.

Student Presentations

Recognizing the significant recruitment challenges in the sector, we are also prioritizing engaging with students in ECE programs to share the findings of these projects. These presentations introduce these emergent ELCC professionals to the idea of Decent Work and empower them with self and community advocacy tools through a decent work lens. We encourage ECE student to share their personal narrative and create professional networks between themselves for advocacy.
