Equal Pay Day 2026

by | Apr 6, 2026 | Events, Active Events, Featured

Tuesday April 14, 2026 is Equal Pay Day in Ontario. It symbolizes how much longer into 2026 the average woman must work to earn what the average man did in 2025.

This year the Ontario Equal Pay Coalition is mobilizing in solidarity with child care workers and other workers in the care economy.

Without the care economy, there is no economy. Without care work, workers can’t work. But women’s underpaid care work continues to support and act as the shock absorber for the rest of the economy. Enough is enough. Care counts! Wages count! Show us the money!

Join our rally at the Pillars of Justice, Toronto on Tuesday April 14, 2026 starting 12:15pm.

DATE: April 14, 2026
TIME: 12:15 PM
