Anti-Racism Project

The WAGE Project is an OCBCC initiative with a focus on centering the voices of racialized mothers and educators in shaping child care response and recovery in Ontario. This project is funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada’s Feminist Response and Recovery Fund.

What is the WAGE Project?

The main objective of the WAGE project is to listen to racialized educators and mothers in child care and family programs, build an ongoing relationship with them, and work collaboratively to create program and policy recommendations to the stakeholders and at the end of the project.
